Friends of JNF Canada’s Young Leaders for Israel initiative cultivates and empowers the next generation of leaders and community advocates for Israel. 

Consisting of individuals aged 22-40, Young Leaders for Israel focuses on strengthening participants’ connection to Israel while also fostering leadership development, encouraging participants to take on active roles within their communities and contribute to Jewish continuity and engagement. 

Each year, the Young Leaders for Israel board selects a fundraising project where Young Leaders for Israel events and young professionals’ personal donations can contribute to making a significant impact in Israel. This collaborative project brings together the young professional communities of Israel supporters in Canada, creating a strong sense of unifying purpose for Israel 

Young Leaders for Israel hosts a variety of events and programs throughout the year. From volunteer opportunities to curated local events, speaking events with top Israel thought leaders and professionals, and immersive missions to Israel, the programming equips young professionals with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to make a meaningful impact. All of this while having fun at the same time!
