About Albert Levi
Albert Levi never planned to become an artist. Growing up in Israel, he was a difficult teenager who did not know where he belonged or what he wanted from life. He found direction while serving in the IDF’s Maglan special forces unit, an experience that gave him discipline, responsibility, perspective, and the belief that he was capable of much more than he had imagined.
In 2022, he picked up a paintbrush almost by chance and found a sense of peace he hadn’t known before. After October 7, painting became his way of processing pain and creating hope amid darkness.
Today, he owns a gallery and studio in Israel and creates works collected around the world, bringing Jewish communities closer to Israel and to one another through art. His story is one of finding purpose, drawing on resilience, and holding onto hope.
