On Monday, June 22, 400 guests joined Friends of JNF Canada Toronto, at Beth Emeth Bais Yehuda Synagogue, for Breakfast for Israel, a morning in support of Israel and a vital project it need - Shelters in a Child and Family Rehabilitation Home in Tzfat, Israel.
Attendees listened intently as information was shared on the work being done in Israel by Friends of JNF Canada, and the work that needs to be done for the shelters. We are grateful to all those who donated towards this project in need.
The event’s main program included a keynote address from Ambassador David Friedman, former United States Ambassador to Israel. Ambassador Friedman shared some key points about the current situation between the US and Israel, including the MOU between the U.S. and Iran, and emphasized the importance of a strong, educated and committed Jewish community to help combat antisemitism.
