We find projects in Israel that will have the greatest impact for communities in need. These are projects typically in underfunded communities in the periphery areas of the country. We focus on 3 areas of impact: Environmental Sustainability, Strengthening Resilience, and Mental & Physical Health.
Link that goes to campaignThough the road ahead is long and uncertain, infrastructure like resilience (therapy) centres, shelters, and community & social centres are needed to alleviate suffering, serve vulnerable groups, and make communities feel safe and supported again.
Both mental and physical healthcare facilities are urgently needed, to address the current demand for rehabilitation, complex treatments, trauma & PTSD support, and general medical care. There are currently only 14 resilience centres serving millions of Israelis across the country.
Nature plays an important role in trauma recovery and well-being, and the environmental damage from rockets and fires has taken its toll on the country. Israeli communities will need access to a healthy natural environment - recreational spaces, parks, and gardens – for the recovery road ahead.
